The record bar looks a little strange and it doesnt look like the first part of the show has recorded but on all the attempts I've made, when the recording timer has finished, the whole show has been recorded (plus a little extra because usually you have to add a little when you set the OTR (+30,+60,+90 etc) from 'Live'.
if you rewind to the beginning of the programme then press pause, so the picture freezes at the opening credits.then press record the machine will jump forward to "live" or thereabouts. A good feature but it means that you have to watch the first part of the show that you have already watched. You can then add time in half hours so the machine will record to the end of the programme. If you are watching a programme and decide half way through you want to record it you are able to rewind to begining, press record and the machine will record the programme. Not sure if this is an intended feature or not but I have found a handy little function that allows you to save the entire buffer without having to watch it first. It appears from manual that you only seem able to save the timeshift buffer by rewinding and then recording - is this right - There is no quick way to save the entire buffer?
